About TLT

The History of The Language Tree

In 2012, The Language Tree was established by twenty-two families seeking a nurturing environment that promotes language learning in French and Spanish. Founded on a non-profit model, our organization is supported and sustained by a dedicated community of parents, whose involvement is fundamental to our success.

The Language Tree Today

Over the years, TLT has expanded and evolved as a language immersion program. We have seen a growing interest in Spanish within our community, and beginning in Fall 2026, The Language Tree will primarily focus on Spanish, offering a variety of programs for children across different age groups. As we grow, we remain committed to our original mission: exposing students to diverse cultures and languages to help equip them as knowledgeable, globally minded, young citizens.  Our educators will continue to expose all students to the varying cultures and languages of our world throughout their time with us at TLT.
